Enriching Student Experience through a Diverse and Inclusive School Environment

“Together in Difference United In Purpose”

A diverse school environment that prevails in Springdales School exposes students to different cultures, perspectives, and ideas. It is incredible to see that this has immensely promoted tolerance and understanding to encourage students to appreciate differences. This has broadened their outlook to adapt to new situations, and collaborate with people from different parts of the World. An endeavor to head towards the concept of – Global Citizenship.

At school we make an earnest effort to expose all our stake holders to experience celebrations of different festivals to foster an understanding and respect for global diversity. This inspiration is also drawn from the leadership of the UAE that has played a crucial role in fostering tolerance and acceptance through several key initiatives and policies in the country. Our school community is very appreciative of the Ministry of Tolerance & Coexistence since the year 2016. Their initiatives of leading national campaigns, educational programs, and community initiatives that promote understanding and coexistence, clearly highlights UAE’s longstanding commitment to embracing diversity and inclusion. The celebration of “Embracing Inclusions” as a key part of our Annual School event, significantly reflects this commitment to inclusiveness.

The diverse classroom challenges encourage students to think beyond the stereotypes. Springdalians today are open to experiencing cultures from around the world and are eager to explore the diversity of different countries. A collage of Indian, Pakistani, Russian & Pan African students at school and the willingness of secondary school students to enroll in colleges across various continents clearly demonstrates that the concept of global diversity is readily embraced by this generation of learners. We currently have our students in parts of Europe, India, US and the UAE for pursuing their higher education. Interacting with peers from different backgrounds helps develop stronger communication and social skills along with building empathy, emotional intelligence and respect for differences. If Diversity is like having a seat at the table, Inclusion is like having a voice and belonging is having that voice being heard.

It is with great pride that we carry forward the legacy of our Founder Dr. Rajni Kumar who once quoted that- Springdales Dubai is saying a grace for taking on the forces of wind for everyone’s sake! She firmly believed that students today have to be more adaptable and prepared for surviving in an interconnected world. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to equipping our students with the skills needed for global challenges. Togeth
