This event was organized on Thursday, 8th November 2018, SEND Sports and Creativity Day for the Determined Learners from various schools. The idea behind this for every student to experience the feeling that ‘We Are All Winners”.

Two of our determined learners Bhuvaneshwari and Lakshhya, participated in the event. Ms. Farhana and Ms. Shobha accompanied the students to this year’s host school GEMS Winchester School. The opening ceremony began with UAE National Anthem, followed by the Principal’s address.

There were different stations set up for various sports activities. Basketball, long jump, throw a ball, hurdle race, running race were sports activities. There was a lot of cheering and enthusiasm from all the schools. It was fantastic to see the determined learners pushing their limits to win medals for their school. After the sports activities, it was time for some creativity. It was fantastic to see their creativity taking shape in the form of beautiful pictures on their canvases. Our students, Bhuvaneshwari and Lakshhya, did a great job, and guess what!!!! Bhuvaneshwari’s painting was selected for the 1st position in the creativity category, and she was awarded a trophy, and both students won medals for participation. It was a very proud moment for our springdalians.
